Strong churches have a pastor and a board who trust each other and pull in the same direction. When that partnership works, the ministry of the church can give full attention to its people and mission.

They are asked to decide on budgets, compensation, contracts, insurance, and buildings, and they take the work seriously even when the questions are unfamiliar.
